Here's some icy and snowy overlays for winter. Some have fun wintery word art. They will surely add a touch of chilly to your winter pages.
Jack Frost Overlay Set

Here's my most recent page kit- Jack Frost. I'm so excited to see our first snow fall here in Spokane. I can't wait to see the boys faces when they see snow falling in our own backyard. What fun we're going to have! This kit was created for whenever I get to take those photos!

A new product category was started at DSP- 2 Page Quick Clicks! Now you can get 2 pack quick click templates to make a quick and easy 2 page spread! Yay! Here's my first attempt at a 2 pager. I really had fun using it for our recent Seattle trip. Hopefully you'll like it too!
What a Trip- 2 Page Quick Click

I heard a shout out recently for more groupies- so here's some more. I think my Bingo Babes will get a kick out of this set!
Simply Lovely Groupies

Ooooo!!! I see you can now add video here!! YAY! Can't wait to do that! In the meantime, here's the matching add-on pack to Plum Dandy. There's also a matching backpack set of background papers. All this can be found in the DigitalScrapbookplace store

Well it's been quite a while since I've been able to post here. I apologize for not being a better blogger. I'll try to keep it updated more regularly. I've been very busy making new digi products though. And I also need to figure out how to set up an RSS feed here. So you can subscribe to my blog and get updates- when I make them.
It's about time I post some new previews here, so here's one- Plum Dandy Page Kit- full of purples, plums and greens.

I thought it was about time for some new overlays. I created these tonight and was going to give them a unique name, but they just looked like they went so perfect with my "Ain't Too Shabby" series. If you have the first set of Ain't Too Shabby Overlays, I'm sure you'll love these too. They should be in the store in a day or two!

So sorry that it's been so long since I've updated. We've been having a lot of fun this summer here in Spokane- going to the river, swimming, sight-seeing, checking out all the lakes around here. I even took the boys back to CA for a week to visit friends and family. It was so fun to see everyone, but I couldn't wait to get back to Spokane. It truly has become our home!

Here's my newest kit, just completed tonight! I'm going to add a little twist to the next Super Bonus Bingo Chat. A few days before the chat, I'm going to post a poll on DSP for you all to vote on which of my new kits you would like to be the next Bingo prize. This new kit- Tiny Bubbles- will be one of the choices. I'm going to make another kit soon for the other choice. The kit with the most votes will be the next prize and I'll make a coordinating bonus freebie for everyone who attends the chat!! Sound like fun??!!

Here's the second one in the series- paper clips!! Coming to the DSP Store soon!

Also during the last Bingo chat, MarsOlson suggested just making some eyelets- plain 'ol eyelets that she can use anywhere. This started me thinking that it would be really neat to get back to basics and come up with a series of basic supplies that you can add to your scrapping stash. Sets of eyelets, paper clips, brads, tape, staples, etc. that you can pull from when you need that one little something to finish a layout. Then the name "The Scrap Heap" popped into my head and I couldn't wait to get this going.... more to come in the series....Let me know what you think!

At the last Bingo Chat, I asked for element suggestions for an Add-On Pack for April Showers. It was so fun to hear your suggestions. I incorporated some of them into this Add-Onn Pack- like the water puddle, the overlay and the pebbles. Now how do you get this Add-On Pack?? Just join in my April Showers Challenge, using the April Showers Page Kit and you'll get this Add-On Pack for FREE!! or it will be in the store following the challenge!

This kit was inspired by rainy, overcast days... something we're getting alot of now that we live in Washington. I don't mind the weather actually, but I am used to more sunshine, being from California. But rainy days in Spring time mean bright pretty flowers are coming soon.... hint, hint....

This kit will be the first featured kit for my new Super Bonus Bingo starting May 11th. Bring your ideas for an Add-On pack to this kit and if you get a Bingo, you'll win this kit!! Bingo is really fun too, even if you don't win!!

It's just past midnight and I just finished this kit. I love the green hues in this one. It reminds me of so many of the trees that are blooming around here. This kit will be part of my new challenge starting this week. And guess what?... you'll be able to get this kit for FREE!! Check Rene's Challenges and Chats thread at DSP for details...

I was laying in bed the other night- actually in my son's bed, putting him to sleep. That's how we do it right now. Gotta lay down with the boys to get them to sleep. It's actually a nice quiet time for us. Anyway... this idea popped in my head and I couldn't wait to get up to make them! I had to break them into 2 sets- Fields of Dreams Word Art Overlays and Fields of Dreams 2. They are very user friendly!! I hope you like them...

For my Senior Designer requirements for this month I had to do 2 Hertiage Page Kits (they will be on the new Scraps of Style- Days Gone By CD), so I really wanted to do something completely different from anything heritage-y or floral-y. So I came up with 1 Funky Page Kit. I also have selfish reasons for making this kit- having 2 little boys, I have TONS of photos with these colors in them. If you've ever been to a playground, or have toys lying around the house, you should be able to use this kit with ease! I wanted to make something kinda "out-there" that could be used in a fun way. I also wanted to make a kit that woud be easy to create a freestyle layout. I've already used it 4 times myself and it really is fun to use. I hope you find it fun too!

These notepapers were created originally as a posting bonus for my "One Cozy Challenge." But soon- as in maybe tomorrow- you can get them in the DSP store if you missed the challenge!

After I created the Ain't Too Shabyy Add-On and particularly the L-O-V-E word art in the puffy plastic, I thought... oh that would make a great Alpha and then people could create whatever word they want! So... Ain't Too Shabby Alpha...

Seems that I was really on a roll with this series. The ideas just kept flowing... oh and I guess I was having a think for birds...

And here's the Add-On Pack....

Well it's been a while since I've had a chance to update my blog. We're official Spokanite's now and we love it. We are really enjoying Spokane, WA so far. It's a much slower pace, but that's what we like the best about it. It's also very family friendly, which makes it really nice. We are currently renting a nice little old house right across the street from a beautiful park of Ponderosa Pines. It's really a treat to look out the living room window and watch the world go by- people walking their dogs, joggers, watching the kids walk to and from school. It's like having a people aquarium.

After having nearly 2 weeks off during the move, it was a little tricky getting back into designing, but I'm back in the swing now. I have quite a few kit updates to make here. Here's the first one... "Ain't Too Shabby"

It's official- we're saying goodbye to California and moving to Spokane, WA. It's been a long time coming as DH has been working on getting a job there for the past 7 months or so. But when he actually got hired in Spokane, boy did things move quickly. We're in the throws of packing up everything, saying goodbye to family and friends and getting our house on the market. What a whirlwind. I'm excited, scared, happy, sad all at once. I've never lived anywhere other than the SF Bay Area before, so this is a huge deal to me. But I think it's a good move and we'll do really well there. I'm looking forward to actually having seasons- maybe even some snow for Christmas- and living a more outdoorsy lifestyle. Lots of trails, parks, and outdoor activities there.

I'm trying to get as much work done as I can before we move on March 1st, since I won't have real internet- outside of Starbucks WiFi- until March 12. I did get my first Easter kit done and I'm planning a pre-Easter challenge to go with it.

Wish us luck on the move and I'll be checking back in after the 12th. Oh and wish us luck that our house sells quickly.

I just finished this one and I think it may be my all-time favorite. I'm going to have to borrow my friends daughter again to scrap some pages with this. I just LOVE making the girlie themed kits, but unfortunately they just don't go with my messy boy photos- LOL! If you want to let me know what you think about this one, just leave a comment! This will be in the store ASAP!

Thursday, January 18, 2007

Here's my first new kit for February. I had so much fun creating this one! I wanted to do something light and fun and happy. Freestyle is becoming so popular these days, I wanted to make a kit that might be easy to use for that kind of look! I'd love to hear what you think about this one!
